USAJOBS
Creative direction for a federal hiring platform serving 2M+ job seekers weekly.
Task
Redesign and improve the user experience of USAJOBS.gov
I led creative direction for a major redesign and re-engineering of USAJOBS.gov, the official employment site for the U.S. federal government. The platform supports more than 16,000 federal recruiters and over 2 million job seekers each week, making it one of the largest hiring systems in the country.
Key Contributions
• Led design direction for a modernized user experience aimed at simplifying the federal hiring process for job seekers.
• Worked closely with federal stakeholders, product teams, and developers to translate complex hiring requirements into a more intuitive interface.
• Helped streamline the application flow to improve engagement and usability for applicants navigating federal job opportunities.
• Designed and launched the first companion iPhone app for USAJOBS, which was also the first iPhone application developed by Monster, extending federal job search capabilities to mobile users for the first time.
