WorkSource Washington (WorkSourceWA.com), the official job board for the State of Washington, relaunched its platform to introduce powerful new tools for both job seekers and employers. The challenge was to modernize the digital experience while strengthening the platform’s brand and improving overall user satisfaction.

I led the brand refresh and key UX design work supporting the relaunch, helping ensure the platform felt clear, modern, and approachable for a broad statewide audience.

 

Key contributions

  • Led the rebranding of WorkSourceWA.com, developing a refreshed identity designed to resonate with both job seekers and employers.

  • Collaborated with stakeholders across the state to gather input and shape the branding strategy.

  • Owned UX design for core areas of the job platform, used by more than 100,000 job seekers and employers each month.

  • Partnered with the client’s marketing team to art direct the “Look Smart” campaign, promoting awareness and adoption of the updated platform.

  • Wrote the campaign tagline “Powered by Monster and You.”
