A friend of mine went to both the Democratic and Republican conventions. At the RNC he happened to be slightly behind the stage but in clear view of the teleprompter. While Palin was speaking he noticed that the word nuclear was spelled out as “newclear”. His analysis was that she actually says nuclear the way that Bush does, Nu-cue-lar and this was another (small) attempt at creating distance from the current admin.
