The Underground iPhone Users Of Vermont Trying To Hide From AT&T
My delight with the iPhone is inversely disproportional to my disdain for AT&T and having to sign a “contract” to have cellphone service. As a society, why do we put up with the special exception of cell phone service as something that requires the signing of a contract? My sewer company doesn’t make me do it. Probably because there is no competition, right? Well how come my regular phone service doesn’t require me to sign a !@#$ contract? I’d like to turn the tables on AT&T (ooohhh that’s wacky!) . I’d like to require that if I pay money to them on a monthly basis, that I am actually able to make phone calls, with my cell phone, whenever I need to. Hows that sound? How about YOU sign that contract AT&T. It seems that the only reason cell providers make you sign a contract is that most have such awful service they wouldn’t be able to count on their customers up and leaving them for the best provider.
Oh, wait… I think that is exactly it.
