I’ve noticed that when I simply have too many things going on at once my brain forgets that functionality that is accessible in computers is not available everywhere in life. Earlier today I was skimming through a fat manual on 508 accessibility and tried to hit cmd-f to find the text I was looking for. When I realized that wasn’t available for the briefest of instants my brain added “why don’t you just google it”. Sigh.

The iPhone really is a business device. Sure, it doesn’t support this and that and blabbady blah, and sure AT&T service is only slightly better than two tin cans attached with miles of weak twine but in a meeting today when no one could get internet access to view the debated contents of a webpage the iPhone saved the day.Â
