Any child of the 80s in the Boston area will remember 94.5 fm WCOZ “kickass rock and roll”. In one of those silly nostalgic moods I tried to find a retro WCOZ t-shirt, to no avail. So being an enterprising old fart I decided to create my own. This is an exact a reproduction as I think is possible based on a single photo that I found. The image is hand crafted from only the finest vectors, curves and points that Adobe Illustrator can produce. Well, everything is relative I guess. But let’s call this a labor of love. Perhaps people didn’t understand what Sinead was doing or trying to express on Saturday Night Live when she tore up a picture of the Pope many years ago. Guess what, it turns out she was being extremely brave and speaking from experience. Would that I could have that amount of bravery. To stand up for something when it’s unpopular and perhaps unbelievable takes more strenghth than I can imagine. I’ve only known one person who can do that.
